"Jeff has done numerous painting jobs for me over the years ranging from an entire house renovation, to single rooms, as well as an exterior fence and play structure. His work is excellent, done with care, and has held up extremely well over the years. Jeff is very personable, professional, and reliable. I would not hesitate to give a referral and to use him again."

"Jeff has painted for us for over 20 years and we wouldn’t think of calling anyone else. He is reliable, prompt, friendly, and a remarkable painter. He works with precision and produces a finished, professional look. He’s also done some spackling around our house. We have referred him to our friends and plan to call Jeff for all our painting needs in the future. He does a great job of cleaning up afterwards too.”

Choosing the Right Finish

When choosing your new paint color you need to consider the type of "finish" you want too. The most common finishes are flat/matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, and glossy.  The matte finish can hide imperfections better, but they aren't very washable. Eggshell finish has only a slight shine but holds up better to cleaning than a flat finish.  Satin finish has yet even more of a sheen to it and works well in areas that have a lot of traffic because it cleans up so nicely.  Finally, semi-gloss and glossy paints are a great choice for doors and trim due to the extra finished look as well as the ease of cleaning when necessary.
